The Medieval town of Valfabbrica is situated on a sweet slant in between the magical rolling hills of Umbria. Valfabbrica history also dated back to the time of St. Francis. Positioned between Assisi and Gubbio this mediaval town lies on the path that St. Francis used to take on his journeys. The town ancient history is still evident today, in the remains of its ancient fort. Today Valfabbrica has around 2000 inhabitants. It is the bordering town of other medieval fortifications such as Assisi, Perugia, Gubbio, Nocera Umbra and Gualdo Tadino. Immersed in a rich territory, Valfabbrica features adventures walking tracks and opportunitiesfor peaceful strolls along the "Chiascio river".
