CASA MATILDE is a charming country house situated in the midst of olive groves and vineyards in the green undulating Umbrian hills. The house has five unique mini-apartments, furnished with every service and comfort for small groups and families looking for relaxing self-catering holidays. Each apartment has its own kitchen and bathroom and is designed for between 2 and 5 adults. There is a large garden, a veranda for barbecues, a private parking place, and a small bar-shop open till late in the evening. CASA MATILDE is an ideal location for discovering Umbria's treasure trove of religious, cultural and historical places of interest. On our doorstep is a chain of small, beautiful medieval towns, each famous for its religious history: Assisi, Montefalco, Cascia, Greggio, Collevalenza and Laverna are wonderful examples of the result of Religion and Man's endeavour. Nearby there are plenty of gorgeous historical towns such as Spoleto, Todi, Orvieto, Amelia, Perugia, Gubbio, Spello, They abound of wonderful churches and cathedrals, medieval castles, archaeological sites, works of art. In addition they host internationally acclaimed theatre and music festivals, such as: Festival of Two Worlds in Spoleto, Umbria Jazz in Perugia, Umbria Jazz Winter in Orvieto, Todi Youth Theatre Festivals, and many other cultural events. The major cultural centres of Rome, Florence and Siena are all within easy-reaching distance by rail from Spoleto, only 10 km from CASA MATILDE. There are trains almost every hour with many direct services.

Our rates:

Our charges are calculated on a weekly basis and are fully inclusive of electricity and running water costs, and VAT. Heating costs are to be paid on place. Prices are very reasonable and start from Euro 100 per person per week. Prices are 15/20% higher during High Season in mid-August as well as for New Year and Easter holidays (see Table of prices below).
Rpices vary from 250 to 580 euros per week, depending on the apartment and the season.

We supply absolutely everything: sheets, blankets, towels, pans, cutlery, tableware, and so on. JUST BRING YOUR SUITCASE!
